Up and coming basketballer Ben Leitch scooped the Disability Sports Person of the Year Award at this year’s Perth & Kinross Sports Awards.

Ben came to us just over a year ago; in that short space of time he has been selected for the Scotland U15 wheelchair basketball squad and is now preparing to compete in the National Junior Championships this Summer.

Ben is a key member of the Dragons-Phoenix U15 squad playing in the British Wheelchair Basketball Junior League and he will be travelling down to the University of Worcester Arena to play in the Finals in April.
