Dragons Make A Big Impression in Kent

Five Dragons were selected to represent Scotland in last weekend’s Wheelchair Rugby League Four Nations.

Team Scotland recorded their first ever international victory in a thrilling 34-14 win over Wales, and went on to finish the competition in 3rd place.

Stephen Carling, Ian McKeen and Ryan Mellon all had their names on the score sheet, with Gemma Lumsdaine receiving a special mention from Coach Jamie Seery during the post match interview for her assist skills.

Michael Mellon took the coveted Scotland Player of the Tournament title as decided by the SWRL Management and Coaching staff, a huge feat given he is a relative newcomer to the sport!

A huge well done to all the players from everyone at DDWSC!
