On Saturday 26^th July two members of Dundee Dragons WSC, Stephen Carling and Ian McKeen, attended this year’s Scotland Wheelchair Tennis Training Camp at the Craiglockhart Leisure and Tennis Centre, Edinburgh.

The camp which was for all Wheelchair Tennis players in Scotland started with focus on chair skills training, which saw the Dragons pair come out first and second in chair speed and agility, before moving on to Tennis skills.

Stephen said “I really enjoyed it! I learned so much about movement and what sort of positions I should be in when receiving the ball.” He went on to say that the warm ups the lads learned at Camp would be beneficial for taking back to club Rugby League and Basketball sessions with emphasis on speed and power. 

Well done guys, we’re looking forward to seeing those new skills in action on the court!
