What a week this has been, with our Dragons in 2 locations at one time on Saturday, followed by our usual midweek sessions seeing our Dragons cycling through rain and sunshine within each session.
Saturday along with our usual Dawson Park Dragons sessions, myself and Kevin took Dragons Adaptive Cycling to the Fife Family Fun Day at Beath High School. Lots of interest and parents loved hearing about who we are and what we do, of course the kids on the bikes, just loved the bikes. The older ones especially enjoyed the hand bikes and learning about who hand bikes benefitted. A long day but very worthwhile. It was great to work alongside Mark Conlan and the Carnegie Cyclones too.
Tuesday and we return to our sessions at the Waterfront by the Forks Cafe and the V&A. Glorious sunshine and heavy rain and incase we weren’t wet enough a wee run through the Fountains as always finished the sessions perfectly.
Thursday sees us return to Castle Green and probably some of the darkest skies we have cycled under. Did it stop our Dragons not a jot! Weather is that all you have . . . Whatever you throw our way, we adapt. We’re not Adaptive Cyclists for no reason 😄
