Our Dawson Park Dragon Riders had a great time today. Cycling around the park paths, some under a pink sky of cherry blossom ![]()
and not a dark cloud to be seen. Today was an important day for 2 reasons. Firstly the utterly amazing Karen Cox, from Outfit Moray (AKA the Wobbly Cyclist) joined us for our first session and had fun exploring Dawson Park on a Jorvik MT e trike. Karen was also able to let us see her newly acquired “TriRide” Wheelchair power adaption. A true game changer for our community that are wheelchair users.
Secondly we were marking the start of Stroke Awareness Month with our Dragons, wearing purple or a purple ribbon
. We celebrated with some cupcakes to enjoy with our Tea and Coffee ![]()
With some cupcakes left they were taken up to the staff at Ward 4 Royal Victoria Hospital, the Stroke Neuro Rehabilitation ward ![]()
